Flights Vilnius - Oslo

Oslo

Norway’s capital Oslo is surrounded by beautiful nature and is just big enough for a short citybreak. There is plenty to do – whether your passion is culture, gourmet food, rock concerts or parties that last from dusk till dawn. If you have more time, we suggest that you explore the countryside because Norway’s fjords are famous for their beauty.

In Oslo, step into the Viking Ship Museum and you are taken back to the era when Vikings dominated the seas in Scandinavia and elsewhere. One of the most exciting attractions of the museum are three ships found near Oslo, the most beautiful of which is Oseberg. Oslo is also home to the museum of Norway’s famous artist Edvard Munch. His painting “The Scream” is one of the world’s most famous artworks.

The Oslo Museum of Nature consists of several smaller museums and botanical gardens. By the way, the museum’s exhibits include a skeleton of a dinosaur. Of smaller museums, one should mention the Museum of Geology and Museum of Paleontology.
