“Guaranteeing flight connections for Estonia is the task of Nordic Aviation,” said Erik Sakkov, the board member of Nordic Aviation Grupp. “There is no doubt that the arrival of SAS in the segment of Scandinavian capitals is good news for Estonian people, and will certainly bring new tourists here. In consideration of the new market situation, Nordic Aviation has therefore decided to stop organising flights to Copenhagen. As flight connections with the city are currently well covered for Estonians, it is a great opportunity for us to aim our resources at other possible destinations to which Estonian people cannot yet fly direct.”

Nordic Aviation is currently working on finalising its summer schedule. Tickets to Nice and Split are already on sale. Nordic Aviation will make an announcement about the other direct flights that will be added to these destinations before the end of the year.

Small changes will also be made in the schedule of Stockholm flights organised by Nordic Aviation from 30 November 2015. The flights scheduled to depart Tallinn at 10:20 on Mondays and Tuesdays will be cancelled, as will the flight departing from Stockholm at 11:00. The flights scheduled to leave Tallinn at 21:25 and Stockholm at 22:05 on Wednesdays and Thursdays will also be cancelled. All passengers concerned will be contacted.

Nordic Aviation will continue flying to Stockholm Arlanda Airport three times a day on working days and twice a day on weekends. In consideration of the requests of Estonian business passengers, the early morning flight to Stockholm will be departing Tallinn 40 minutes later than the current 7:00. The new departure time of the flight from Tallinn to Stockholm from 30 November 2015 is 7:40, and the return flight will leave Stockholm at 8:25.

None of the changes concern the schedule of Oslo flights: Nordic Aviation will continue flying there twice a day (except Saturdays) according to the current schedule.
