Pilot

Founded in 2015, Nordic Aviation Group AS (which includes airlines Nordica and Xfly) has grown into the largest Estonian airline of all time.
We offer strategic partnership by providing long-term flight services to other European airlines with our planes and crews, employing more than 600 aviation specialists in Estonia and abroad. We have colleagues of over 30 different nationalities and bases in Tallinn (headquarters), Stockholm, Gällivare, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Vilnius and Turku.
The company plans to expand strongly in the coming years by constantly increasing its aircraft fleet. In the fall of 2022, we will also start flight operations with a large, 180-seat Airbus 320 aircraft.
We value adaptability, trust, willingness to act and team spirit in the company. We work together and often spend our free time together too. We always offer in-house career opportunities at new heights.
Join us and let's do something great together!
We are friendly, open and honest towards both our employees and partners.
Aviation requires teamwork, so we place a high value on ability to cooperate, initiative and dedication. We take care of one another and move forward together.
We believe that all employees are equally important to the company and strive to be a flexible and supportive employer.

What should I expect from an assessment?
The assessment consists of three parts: a simulator session, a test of your knowledge and an individual interview. The simulator session takes place in a full flight simulator and involves a range of flying exercises. It focuses on manual flying and instrument reading skills rather than checklists or your knowledge of calls. The written knowledge test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions on aviation in general, including questions on jets or textbook material. The interview is designed to assess your personality, mindset and attitudes towards aviation and the working environment.
What form does the employment relationship take?
Nordica's pilots have a choice between three types of contract: a non-commuting contract, a subcontract or a commuting contract.
