Dear Nordica friends!

We at Nordica take our responsibility seriously to ensure the health and safety of passengers and crew, by continuously following the recommendations given by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Estonian Health Board, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Public Health Agency of Sweden and the Swedish Transport Agency regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We presume that all our passengers will take their own responsibility and avoid traveling unless it is unavoidable. 

If you feel sick, please stay home and do not travel. If you have a fever, are coughing, or experience difficulty breathing, seek help in a timely manner.

Masks are recommended rather than mandatory on Nordica flights from 2 May 2022

As a result of positive developments in the Nordic countries and over Europe, the wearing of masks for the duration of all Nordica flights (with the exception of charter flights) is now recommended rather than mandatory for all passengers, with certain exceptions. On some occasions it is not possible to purchase it in all airports – therefore it is highly recommended that you have familiarized yourself with the mask availability at the airports and various airport heath rules before your travel. 

Children up to and including the age of 6 and passengers with medical contraindications are exempt from wearing masks on Nordica flights.

Check-in online in advance

Avoid the queues at the airport and check-in for your flight online on your mobile device or computer. Check-in can be made online for all Nordica regular flights, any time from 36 hours to 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure.

Depending on the service class passengers can check in on a flight free of charge:

1 PC x 23kg (Economy), 2 PC x 23kg (Economy Flex) and 2 PC x 32 kg (Business)

Carry-on baggage

One carry-on bag is allowed free of charge.

Carry-on baggage is placed in the overhead compartment above the seats or under the seat in front of you and can be a small cabin bag, or similar.

• Maximum size: 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (length x width x depth).

• Maximum weight: 8 kg

NOTE: Additional personal item (e.g. handbag/ laptop bag) is allowed. 

Safe traveling

We ask all our passengers to avoid contact and to keep a distance of at least 1,5 meters (whenever possible) from other passengers around you. Please avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, and observe good respiratory hygiene. If you sneeze or cough, cover your nose and mouth with a single-use tissue. Throw it into the bin immediately after, and then clean your hands. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (the inside of your elbow), but do not use your bare hand. 

Nordica values the safety of passengers together with employees above all else. Safety is not negotiable, and no compromises are made. In its daily activities, Nordica proceeds from all the regulations and standards applicable in Europe and carries out constant and regular audits of the corresponding procedures and processes, in cooperation with national and international responsible agencies and auditors.

All Nordica aircraft are disinfected according to the health regulations. All aircraft are equipped with high-efficiency HEPA filters.
