People in Estonia can now fly to Constanţa from Tallinn, with direct flights operating until 29 September. At first the flights will depart on Saturdays, but from 27 June there will be an additional Wednesday flight. Travel time between the two cities is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Constanţa is 65 km from the Bulgarian border and 150 km from the famous golden sands of Varna, making it easy for travellers to visit two countries on the one trip. Black Sea resorts stretch from the north of Romania (the Danube delta) south to Bulgaria, covering 275 km of coastline in total.

Toomas Uibo, Nordica’s Director of Marketing and Communication, says that Estonian travellers have shown a great deal of interest in the new route. “Passenger numbers on the flights have exceeded our expectations, which shows we made the right choice in picking Constanţa as a destination,” he said. “People in Estonia are looking for exciting new experiences when they go on holiday, and that’s definitely something the Romanian resort will offer them. It’s ideal for families with kids and teenagers for being so affordable.”
