Leisure Cargo, a 100% subsidiary of Zeitfracht, has taken over the belly freight of Estonian airline Nordica from 1st of June 2018. Leisure Cargo is providing its total cargo management services for the bellies of eight passenger aircraft – operating mainly in Northern and Central Europe. In the German-speaking area, Munich and Vienna are being served all-year-round while Hamburg and Berlin are being served with seasonal flights.

The corresponding cooperation agreement between Leisure Cargo and Nordica was signed in May 2018. The cargo capacities are marketed within the scope of Zeitfracht’s subsidiary company Leisure Cargo’s Total Cargo Management services.

Sven Kukemelk, Executive Director Business Development at Nordica, said: „We are happy to take another step in Nordica development through finding such a strong partner to manage our belly cargo. We expect this cooperation to be beneficial for both sides by taking a step further in our development path.”

„Our new offer is especially focused on time-critical, quickly perishable or expansive cargo for which transport by sea way or country route is no longer an option”, Wolfram Simon, Managing Director of ZEITFRACHT, stated. “With Nordica, we have won an airline that perfectly fits into our portfolio and complements the geographic coverage of our services in Northern Europe.” adds Thilo Schaefer, Managing Director of Leisure Cargo.
