  • The next summer season Estonia’s national airline Nordica will launch flights to Romania, the city of Constanta, close to all Romanian Black Sea resorts stretching on a coastline of over 250 km, and to Ohrid, a popular summer resort in Macedonia.

  • The passenger volume of Estonia’s national airline Nordica rose to a record high number in July. The domestic airline served a total of 65,215 passengers during that month. Compared to July of last year, this represents growth of 50.2%. By proportion of passengers Nordica retained its market leader position for flights departing from Tallinn, at 27.8%. In the course of July Nordica performed a total of 1,098 flights, 99.1% of all flights were operated.

  • In May 2017 a total of 51,000 passengers flew with Nordica, which is 44% more than one year ago. Over 200,000 passengers have flown to Nordica’s 19 direct destinations since the beginning of the year.

  • This week, Estonia’s national airline Nordica launched flights to its summer destinations. In addition to its year-round flights, the airline is now offering direct connections to six popular holiday destinations in Europe. Nordica operates the most flights out of Tallinn Airport, serving 18 routes from the Estonian capital.

  • The national airline Nordica will add two CRJ900 aircraft to its fleet. The state-owned Transpordi Varahaldus OÜ will issue 25 million euros worth of bonds to buy the planes and rent them to Nordica. The bonds will be bought in equal shares by LHV pension funds and LHV Bank.

  • With Warsaw becoming a key hub, Nordica has added flights to the Polish capital as it continues to expand and develop. This significant addition to the airline’s schedule will come into effect on 15 June, when Nordica, in cooperation with its partner LOT Polish Airlines, will launch third daily flight between Tallinn and Warsaw, operating year-round. New morning departure from Tallinn and evening departure from Warsaw provide passengers with the most convenient and shortest connection to wide range of Polish, European and American destinations such as Poznan, Wrocław, Prague, Budapest, Sofia, Madrid, New Jork JFK, Chicago and Los Angeles. Travel time of each flight between Tallinn and Warsaw is approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes, and connecting time in Warsaw is approximately 1 hour only.

  • We are pleased to announce that last week Nordica’s subsidiary company Regional Jet entered into a six-year subcontracting agreement with SAS for the operation of four ATR-type aircraft serving short-haul routes from Copenhagen. This is yet another major win for Regional Jet.
