  • With Warsaw becoming a key hub, Nordica has added flights to the Polish capital as it continues to expand and develop. This significant addition to the airline’s schedule will come into effect on 15 June, when Nordica, in cooperation with its partner LOT Polish Airlines, will launch third daily flight between Tallinn and Warsaw, operating year-round. New morning departure from Tallinn and evening departure from Warsaw provide passengers with the most convenient and shortest connection to wide range of Polish, European and American destinations such as Poznan, Wrocław, Prague, Budapest, Sofia, Madrid, New Jork JFK, Chicago and Los Angeles. Travel time of each flight between Tallinn and Warsaw is approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes, and connecting time in Warsaw is approximately 1 hour only.

  • We are pleased to announce that last week Nordica’s subsidiary company Regional Jet entered into a six-year subcontracting agreement with SAS for the operation of four ATR-type aircraft serving short-haul routes from Copenhagen. This is yet another major win for Regional Jet.

  • Today Nordica’s seventh plane has arrived in Tallinn. The 90-seat Bombardier CRJ900 is from the same CRJ line as all the earlier Nordica planes. This latest arrival got its Nordica and LOT Polish Airlines livery just a couple of days ago in France.

  • To mark International Civil Aviation Day, Nordica is taking a look back at its first year of operations. The airline got off the ground in November 2015, with the first flights in aircraft bearing the Nordica colours taking place in March this year. 9000 regular flights have since been operated, as well as flights operated for our partners. In total, passengers have been flown with Nordica’s help to more than 360 destinations around the world, and by the end of 2016 passenger numbers are expected to have reached around 400,000.

  • Nordica and LOT Polish Airlines will start a strategic cooperation as of 19. November this year. The proposed cooperation involves a joint commercial platform and ticket sales system, as well as the sharing of airline codes. Nordica will provide services to LOT in order to increase the efficiency of the operation of regional flights. The first new route that Nordica will start servicing in the coming months is Stockholm-Warsaw. With the export of flight services increasing, Nordica will supplement its fleet with three new aircraft and create over 70 jobs in the next year. As a necessary element of the strategic cooperation, LOT will acquire 49% shareholding in Nordica’s subsidiary undertaking Regional Jet .

  • Nordica, in association with Adria Airways, served a total of 38,102 passengers in September, operating 791 flights during the month. As planned, summer flights to Paris and the Croatian resort of Rijeka came to an end in September, while the start of the new business season saw more flights on the Vilnius, Oslo and Stockholm routes. In total, the arrival of autumn has seen a reduction in passenger numbers of just 5%.

  • Nordica, in cooperation with Adria Airways, served a total of 40,069 passengers in August, operating 739 flights during the month. 77.8% of those flights were performed with Nordica’s own CRJ-type aircraft, with an average seat occupancy rate of 71.3%.
